Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Wendell, North Carolina. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in managing business to business collections, focusing on processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage business to business collection processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

• Process customer credit applications, maintaining a high level of attention to detail

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information, updating records as necessary

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit, providing excellent customer service

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly, identifying and addressing any issues promptly

• Implement collection processes for commercial collections, adhering to industry standards

• Act as a collector for delinquent accounts, negotiating payment plans and solutions

• Analyze commercial collections data, identifying trends and areas for improvement

• Utilize Collection Processes and Commercial Collections skills to enhance collection efficiency

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline collection processes. Requirements • Must have experience in the Manufacturing industry

• Proven record in a Collections Specialist role or similar

• Proficiency in Collection Processes

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Ability to perform duties of a Collector effectively

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections systems and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Proficiency in using computer software including MS Office and collections-specific programs.
