Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking to add a 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance mechanic to our team. The maintenance technician will be responsible for the setup and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. In this role, you will monitor equipment that produces various shapes and sizes of plastic components, operate and calibrate machinery, and inspect finished products to ensure quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

  • Monitor equipment producing plastic components of different shapes and sizes.

  • Operate, calibrate, and inspect finished products for quality control.

  • Perform hydraulic tasks including working with prints, pumps, motors, and cylinders.

  • Handle electrical tasks such as reading schematics, working with DC voltage, and 480v 3 phase motors.

  • Perform mechanical tasks involving conveyors, hot drop controllers, and thermometers.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 15-20 injection molding machines on the main floor. The other side of the plant houses the warehouse and shipping/receiving area. You will be required to stand on your feet for 8+ hours each shift, work 6 days a week or every other weekend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
