Job Details:
Scheduled hours: variable day shift hours depending on the needs of the department, Monday - Friday
Job Description:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Completes Breath Testing with patients. Inspects and reprocesses all scopes used in the department with a keen attention to detail maintaining infection control and industry standards. Performs a variety of clerical functions and tasks related to department specific needs. Provides high quality care and services to the following patient populations: Gastroenterology; Cardiac; Pulmonary
Qualifications:
Health care experience within the past five years preferred
Prefer computer classes/experience
Prefer Medical Terminology
Iowa Certified Nurse Aide or course completion and passing test scores within 4 months of hire
