System One Supply Chain Analyst in West Caldwell, New Jersey

Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: West Caldwell, NJ

Schedule: M-F Full Time

Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the research and analysis of inventory levels to strategize a response plan to updated forecasts and exception messages in order to support master production schedules, OTIF, and company goals. In addition, reviews and communicates capacity requirement analysis findings and provides solutions to support the master production schedule. Creates, maintains, utilizes KPI’s and other analysis to support decisions within the planning and purchasing departments. Supports master data coordinator to maintain accurate SAP data.

  • Analyzes inventory levels and MRP exception messages in relation to updated forecast and order requirements and formulates response plans to ensure the company’s production and sales goals are met, customer order fulfillment is completed on time, and any material concerns are addressed.

  • Participates in monthly Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and works with supply chain team to maximize consumption of expiring materials.

  • Performs routine and ad hoc analysis to support

  • purchasing and production decisions.

  • Creates, maintains, and utilizes meaningful KPIs to drive the operations of the business to attain departmental and company goals.

  • Determines and analyzes machine and labor capacity requirements as well as overtime possibilities in order to meet required delivery dates within OTIF range or to fulfill special requests from customers, escalating identified resource and capacity constraints and proposing solutions.

  • Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, quality personnel etc on material status and production planning issues.

  • Supports master data coordinator, maintaining accurate planning master data (e.g. maintaining SAP material masters, BOMs, and recipes and mapping out cycle times), performing regular reviews, and modifying when necessary.

  • Assists with maintenance of SAP data and process order dates

  • Supports execution of supply chain-related change controls as needed and assists with establishing transition plans for new material changes and defining material obsolescence.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain

  • 3-4 Years Operations, Production Planning, Material Management

  • Three years working with Enterprise Information Systems (SAP)

  • Above Average Reading, Writing and Verbal Skills

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP

  • Excellent Mathematic Skills

  • Excellent Team Player

  • Strong analytical background

  • Proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs
