AmeriMed provides home infusion therapy services to help patients safely transition care to their home, alleviating long and unnecessary stays in the hospital. Through our experienced and professional pharmacy team at AmeriMed we provide total care for our patients. Working directly with physicians, we are able to manage a variety of diseases and conditions in a homecare setting. Our goal is to help each patient be an active participant in their care. Through education and partnership with each patient and their caregivers, we teach our patients how to effectively manage their therapy and provide ongoing oversight, coordination and support throughout their therapy
Responsibilities
AmeriMed Infusion Pharmacy Now Hiring Full time Admissions Coordinator for the West Chester, Ohio location.
Mon -Fri Rotating Work Week Schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 - 6:00 PM)
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing value and works to deliver exceptional service to our customers by being accountable, courteous, understanding, responsive, and strives to excel by going above and beyond standard expectations. The PSR is also responsible for completing calls to patients to obtain supply, enteral and medication needs for refills and communicating patient needs to the pharmacy team.
Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected healthinformation. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Completes calls to patients to obtain supply, enteral and medication needs for refills.
Completes Patient Refill Assessment in the system for each delivery.
Creates a delivery ticket with supplies to be sent to the patient.
Answers to patient’s questions, resolves complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitates satisfactory resolution.
Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) Program Coordination; including assisting with the overall development and implementation of the PI plan, assisting in the identification of goals and related patient outcomes, participation and reporting of activities and outcomes, development and implementation of corrective plans.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
One year of customer service experience or equivalent.
Ability tto uncover opportunities to provide better support to cuystomers in the future.
Ability to effectively provide high quality customer service and intently listen to the needs and questions posted by patients, caregivers and prospects, providng suitable and appropriate options.
Accuracy, medical terminology and deatil oriented.
Problem solving capabilities.
Priority setting and time management.
Pay Range
$15.08 - $20.74 /hour
