Being a Devereux- Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (D-PBIS) Coordinator for our Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages!

As a D-PBIS Coordinator at Devereux PA Children's Services (DPACS), you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping children diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder make positive behavior choices while receiving residential treatment services on our campus in West Chester, PA.

Every day as a D-PBIS Coordinator you will...

  • Coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of all D-PBIS programs at DPACS

  • Conducts staff training, direct observations, data collection, and provides performance feedback to the teams.

  • Monitor, develop, and summarizes PBIS program data and data collection systems

  • Conduct periodic program assessments related to program integrity and program outcomes, participation in ongoing program evaluations for quality control, presents progress data to staff, administrators and center leadership team

  • Serves as liaison between DPACS D-PBIS teams and National D-PBIS Consultants

Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience in Positive Behavior Support, performance management strategies, and project coordination. Must have good project management skills. Requires strong data collection and analytic skills utilizing computer applications. Requires developed facilitation and training skills. Ability to be adaptable, flexible and change activities quickly. Proficient in MS Office and Database Management.

Valid driver's license must be maintained.
