Job Title: Signal Technician
Job Description
Summary: This role involves being trained to perform emergency and preventive maintenance on traffic signals, control cabinets, controllers, and other technical equipment. Upon completion of training, you will maintain, repair, and install traffic signal equipment. You will handle power tools and materials for various projects and be able to lift heavy loads. Commitment to safety rules and the ability to concentrate on tasks are essential.
Responsibilities
Perform emergency and preventive maintenance on traffic signals and related equipment
Maintain, repair, and install traffic signal equipment
Handle power tools and materials for various projects
Adhere to safety rules and regulations
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including low voltage systems
Work in a variety of weather conditions
Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy loads up to 50 pounds
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Read, write, and speak fluent English
Follow directions and work in various roles as needed
Essential Skills

Experience with traffic signal equipment
Good hand-eye coordination
Verbal and written communication skills
Manual dexterity for operating machinery and equipment
Mechanical ability
Commitment to safety
Valid PA driver’s license
Additional Skills & Qualifications
ISMA Certification (Traffic Signal Inspector Program)
Familiarity with power tools and machinery
Previous experience in a similar role
High school diploma or equivalent
Commercial electrical experience
PLC experience
Strong work ethic
After hours availability
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $73000.00
Medical, Dental, Vision 401K. Good company benefits available. The employee will be eligible for company bonuses
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in West Chester,PA.
