Job Summary:
This is a supervisory position, with direct reports. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Also fulfils day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed. This is an hourly position.
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $53.98 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

Job Responsibilities:
Working with and supporting LM Mangers in the completion of their duties and responsibilities:
Scheduling of maintenance required to efficiently operate skil ifts for guests
Establishing and following priorities, safety, quality and integrity
Monitoring and correcting concerns affecting safety in the work place
Maintaining lift logs, recording all maintenance performed
Ensure all required inspections are conducted on all lifts on an ongoing basis
Training and directing millwrights, lift mechanics, apprentices and laborers in proper maintenance of ski lift and operation of machinery as necessary
Responsible for assuring lifts are in compliance with ANSI B.77 regulations and in accordance with industry Standards and Practice.
Conducting performance reviews with employees
Assisting lift operations with training, supervision of staff and operating of all lifts
Participate in all department meetings and company functions
Maintain and repair Mount Snow Lift facilities in accordance with company policies
Participate in establishing and managing financial budgets in the department
Coordinate with all departments on an ongoing proactive basis
Scheduling of manpower and resources available in conjunction with other supervisors and managers
Inspecting all lift facilities on a daily basis
Improve safety and efficiency of lift facilities
Project management
Proven understanding and interpretation of ANSI code
Coordinate purchasing tools and equipment
Ensure effective two-way communications between LM crew and Manager
Continued implementation and improving preventative maintenance program
Monitor program effectiveness and strive for continual improvement.
Actively participate in day to day maintenance duties.
Job Q ualifications:
4+ years Maintenance experience
Extensive Mechanical background in proven experience in maintaining ski lifts and machinery
Expert in troubleshooting lift failures
Able to communicate effectively with staff and guests
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to guest service
Computer skills including working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet is an asset
Well organized, adapt to change quickly and perform other duties as assigned
Clean MVR background
Leadership skills. Maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
The ability to work rotating schedule including weekends and nights
Working at heights
Must have Level III mechanic skills and abilities
Knowledgeable of regulatory codes
Knowledge and experience in the usage of heavy equipment for lift repair
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Exposure to inclement weather conditions
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $53.98. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
