Take a look at the details below for the position At Simpson Our Life Enrichment Coordinator provides clerical support to the Manager of Activities and Events and Director of Resident Services assisting with developing, coordinating, and implementing engaging activities, events, and programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. The goal is to enrich the lives of residents by providing opportunities for social interaction, creativity, physical exercise, intellectual stimulation, and spiritual growth that meet the quality measures of Simpson. Qualifications

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent communication skills Ability to interpret instructions (written and verbal) Proficient telephone etiquette and strong customer service skills. Capable of working independently and with a team PC Skills: Basic keyboarding skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. Creative thinker Key Responsibilities: Program Development: Design and develop a diverse calendar of activities and events that cater to the interests, abilities, and needs of residents. Activity Coordination: Organize and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly activities, ensuring they are well-executed and meet the residents' expectations. Resident Engagement: Encourage resident participation in activities and gather feedback to continuously improve program offerings. Community Involvement: Build relationships with community organizations, volunteers, and entertainers to enhance the variety and quality of programs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of residents' participation, preferences, and any necessary assessments or reports. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including nursing, dietary, and housekeeping, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards. Resource Management: Manage the budget for activities and events, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to assist with activities and events. The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday work to accommodate special events and activities. All other duties as assigned.
