Job Details Responsibilities: Accompanies patients to exam area as needed; occasionally assists patients with preparing for exam (clothing changes, etc) Answers phones in a timely, professional manner and distributes calls/messages to appropriate personnel. Contacts physician offices as needed Performs general clerical duties as required (i.e. filing, computer skills, preparing appropriate paperwork and confirming all appointments). Maintains and files patient records in an organized manner Scans and verifies patient paperwork into the EMR Read, retrieve, print and fax reports from EPIC for physicians, patients and legal requests Burn and import disc's for patients and physicians Collect fees for legal requests when required Schedules patients appropriately, for all areas of radiology General office duties: which include but are not limited to greeting patients, registration, answering phones, collecting copayments, assisting patients with various needs, assist with retrieving supplies from various areas within the department and the hospital, assist with distributing patient paperwork to the appropriate areas Participates in performance improvement projects Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Computer proficiency, including Word and Excel; Professional communication skills, both telephone and in-person; Strong organization skills and ability to multitask. Previous healthcare related field or professional office experience, preferred. Salary Range USD $21.00 - USD $25.20 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
