Job Title: Environmental Monitor

Job Description

The Environmental Monitor/Construction Inspector is tasked with the daily oversight of the project site, focusing on minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. This role involves communicating environmental protection criteria to contractor personnel and providing ongoing guidance and interpretation throughout the construction process.

Hard Skills

• BS or BA in natural sciences with 7 years' experience

• Five years' experience in environmental compliance during construction

• Deep understanding of environmental regulations for linear electric transmission projects

• Data analysis

• Knowledge of environmental law and EPA regulations

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Field work capability

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to carry out independent original scientific work

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Month(s). Candidates will be working a 50 hour work week on a 5/10 work schedule.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Nyack, New York. Candidates are required to work on site and will be given per diem based off of qualifying distances.

5.5 mile utility line install project
