Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will review, manage and prepare data for reporting and presentation. They will be integrated in identifying opportunities and enhancements.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Strata applications is preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

• Analyze departmental and system financial statements and reports to ensure appropriate expense classification and research budget variances.

• Trace expenses from invoices, purchase orders, requisitions and build databases to analyze and present financial information.

• Track and trend expenses for budgets and report on variances.

• Reconcile vendor statements / invoices to ensure appropriate coding of expenses.

• Follows up on account analysis and accruals with department heads to ensure accuracy and gain understanding of department operations.

• Develop and timely maintain schedules of operating expenses, capital, and FTE s.

• Analyze data for opportunities across the system.

• Assist in the budget process and collection and validation of data.

• Review policy and procedures and assist in enhancements.

• Must be highly proficient in Excel, a self-motivator who leads and takes initiative.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills and a keen analytic mind.

• Completes special projects, ad hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

• Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
