We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to be a part of our team. The role is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will be representing clients, conducting client interviews, developing cases, providing legal counsel, and maintaining case records. You will also be responsible for legal research, drafting legal documents, and building relationships with social service agencies and the local bar association. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil legal matters before administrative and judicial tribunals.

• Conduct client interviews either at the office or at other locations.

• Undertake thorough investigations to develop cases, including conducting necessary interviews and consulting with relevant agencies and resources.

• Offer counsel and advice to clients on various legal matters.

• Negotiate on behalf of clients in various situations.

• Draft and prepare legal documents and written materials such as letters, memos, pleadings, and briefs.

• Stay updated on new developments in the law and legal practices.

• Perform legal research for case preparation and to stay updated on legal trends.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and updated records and files for all cases.

• Refer and follow up on referrals of clients to appropriate alternative or additional sources of assistance.

• Develop and maintain relationships with social service agencies and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

• Participate in the development and execution of community education projects and activities.

• Serve on community, bar, and county committees where feasible.

• Attend staff and other meetings in the community as assigned.

• Maintain confidentiality of all information handled.

• Comply with all agency policies and procedures.

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements • Must hold a law degree (JD) and be licensed to practice in the state

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney

• Demonstrated proficiency in using 3M

• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document creation and editing

• Experience with Case Management Software to track and manage cases efficiently

• Knowledge of Conveyancer software for real estate transactions

• Ability to manage documents effectively, with a focus on Document Management skills

• Experience in briefing teams and clients on case updates and legal advice

• Proven track record in Civil Litigation, with a focus on representing clients effectively

• Experience in Claim Administration, with a focus on managing and resolving claims

• Proficiency in Complaint Handling, with a focus on resolving client complaints promptly

• Knowledge of Consumer Electronics is a plus, as it may be relevant to certain cases.
