The Senior Clinical Scientist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the execution of clinical trials. This includes developing strategy of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) clinical trials, oversight of the clinical trial and communicating with stakeholders.

This position is part of the Microbiology OpCo located in West Sacramento and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Microbiology Clinical team and report to the Sr. Manager of Clinical Affairs responsible for the oversight of clinical studies. If you thrive in a multifunctional role and want to work to build a world-class Clinical Affairs organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct overall site management of clinical studies

  • Owner of clinical study deliverables for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) clinical trials according to applicable regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

  • Communicate with key stakeholders regarding clinical trial data and outcomes

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years experience

  • Travel up to 10% expected

  • 3+ years working with in vitro diagnostics

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior experience overseeing clinical trials

  • Prior experience working with Beckman Coulter Microbiology technology

The salary range for this role is $95,000-115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
