Description
Robert Half is eagerly seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing practice! Apply today to be considered for an immediate opening.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.
Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Manage and oversee the continuous improvement of accounting operations and automated accounting systems.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and lead the internal audit team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a leadership role in Accounting or Finance.
Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial business processes.
Working knowledge of Finance ERP software.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent understanding of the financial close cycle and report writing capabilities.
Strong leadership skills with a proficiency in mentoring and coaching.
Proven track record of leading a team to meet deadlines and provide accurate financial information.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
