Job Description

The Solutions Marketing Lead will guide the strategic direction, development, and commercial success of solutions designed to enhance the operational aspects of the Hospital. They will lead a global team of direct and indirect reports that build and execute comprehensive operational solutions that incorporate hardware, software, data services, and IT connectivity to solve significant pain-points. This person should serve as a subject matter expert in Endoscopy workflow, operations and IT. They must delegate authority and responsibilities effectively to achieve goals, while also inspiring team to solve challenges in new and creative ways. This position requires strong customer focus, collaboration, change management, innovation, and communication.

Job Duties

  • Lead a team of globally located solutions managers to develop and execute a comprehensive commercial roadmap for operational solutions

  • Serve as subject matter expert on Endoscopy workflow, operations, and IT.

  • Responsible for robust business cases to support new solution initiatives, investments, and resource allocation

  • Drives creation of detailed Market Requirements Document that articulates the needs and expectations of our customers as well as unique selling points of our products and solutions.

  • Implements claims matrix and evidence planning early in the development process to substantiate product claims and support marketing strategies with solid scientific evidence.

  • Builds and supports development of strategic insights, through analysis of customer feedback, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform decision making and product development

  • Formulate and adjust pricing strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability while ensuring compliance with industry regulations

  • Develops segmentation and targeting strategies to identify and prioritize key market segments for OLY products.

  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with healthcare professionals to maintain and strengthen core business relationships and promote market growth

  • Collaborate across all business units, SBCs, and functions (Product, R&D, sales, marketing, regulatory, legal, MSA, etc.) to deliver solutions that support revenue and profit objectives

  • Identifies actual or potential issues related to key initiatives and leads team members to develop suitable action plans to resolve such issues

  • Mentors, guides, and coaches direct reports to expand their capabilities and build depth in the organization

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS with preference for physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or business. MBA strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of successful healthcare product management

  • Extensive experience in commercializing new technologies and solutions

  • Demonstrated success delivering results in highly matrixed organizations

  • Minimum of five (5) years working with global teams and markets

  • Ability to travel up to 50% including international travel

  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours to accommodate global teams

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare IT, AI, machine learning, or clinical informatics

  • Succinct communication and presentation style

  • Creative thinker and strategic planner

  • Efficient and effective decision-making

  • Tolerance for ambiguity and a passion for rapid business evolution

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $182,390.00 - $273,584.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
