The Project Controls Specialist is an integral member of the E2 team, bringing in-depth expertise in developing and maintaining project plans within a complex construction environment. This role primarily supports a large new commercial construction data center program, utilizing Primavera P6 for detailed resource-loaded scheduling and Earned Value Management reporting. The incumbent will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and communicating impacts to various project aspects including cost, scheduling, resources, labor, materials management, risk, and issue mitigation. Recognize cross-discipline relationships within the project team. Generate project forecasted cash flow. Grasp common cost & scheduling concepts including the critical path method. Understand the interplay between risk, cost, and quantities on the project. Comprehend the relationship among project estimate, work breakdown structure, and schedule. Utilize historical data for actual hours, costs, and pricing. Review key aspects of the project contract and assist with cost controls and planning/scheduling activities. Implement controls to support, monitor, and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs, labor hours, and quantities for projects. Facilitate change order routing and review processes, including documentation, costing, and time impact analysis. Update project cost forecasts accurately and in a timely manner. Collect and update timely and accurate cost data for cost report development. Collect and update accurate and timely data for schedule development and updates, preparing baseline schedules for approval by project teams. Gather data to support project labor hour forecasts. Generate client and internal status reports effectively communicating cost status and trends, along with identifying potential corrective actions. Prepare and submit monthly invoices in a timely manner to maintain healthy cash flow throughout the project life cycle. Prepare and submit monthly schedule progress report to the client throughout the project life cycle. Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2. Education: High School Diploma, BS or AA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related Professional Experience. Experience: Proven knowledge project scheduling. In depth knowledge in the Project Controls aspects. 2+ years as a scheduler cost analysis on capital projects with contract value in excess of $5 million. Experience in EVM (Earned Value Management) reporting and CPI/SPI metrics evaluation preferred. Familiarity with look-ahead scheduling, tracking, and progress reporting. Knowledge of
