Description

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity located in Westlake, Ohio.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately processing invoices on a daily basis.

• Performing 3-way match reconciliation tasks to ensure vendor payments match the POC.

• Handling discrepancies when invoices and POC do not match, requiring careful review and problem-solving skills.

• Utilizing MS Excel to create spreadsheets and perform data entry tasks.

• Gradually taking on the responsibility of handling discrepancies after initial training and familiarization with paying invoices.

• Utilizing SAP Financials software for various accounts payable tasks and functions.

• Performing business analysis to ensure efficient operations within the accounts payable department.

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit applications, ensuring data integrity.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and executing appropriate actions for delinquent payments.

• Ensuring all tasks are completed within the stipulated working hours of 8-5.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the retail industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Strong skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis

• Experience in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Knowledge of SAP Financials for managing financial transactions and reporting

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
