Charles Schwab 2025 Charles Schwab Corporate Real Estate Internship in Westlake, Texas

Within the Corporate Real Estate department we are hiring in two different sub tracks- Property Management and Project Management / Construction . Within these tracks in the Corporate Real Estate department, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!

Project Management / Construction (Westlake, TX)

In your role, you will assist Construction Managers with their Projects at various phases and in various locations – includes Retail and Corporate Projects.

  • Learn to build budgets and schedules for Construction Projects.

  • Review construction drawings

  • Assist with Contracts, Purchase Order, and Invoice Processing.

  • Assist with managing Vendors including General Contractors, Architects, Consultants, Furniture Vendors, etc.

  • Create space plans for office space and take direction from Design Managers for the design and implementation of design for retail branch properties and corporate properties

  • Work with Bluebeam, MS Project

  • Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead

  • Interact with senior management, design managers, construction managers, internal and external business partners and peer

Property Management (Omaha, NE)

As a Property Manager intern you will be working with our Corporate Property team learning what we do and will have the opportunity to work on ad hoc projects and assist with facility maintenance, strategy, projects, event planning and support.

  • Provide Corporate Real Estate Property support to Omaha and Lone Tree (Central Region)

  • Provide Corporate Real Estate conference operation support

  • Engage in active on-site workspace refresh and facility maintenance projects

  • Participate in event planning cycle

  • Assist in ad hoc project support

  • Learn Corrigo Work Order software

  • Shadow & Network with CRE functional teams

  • Participate in annual OPEX and CAPEX budget cycle

  • Participate in select vendor quarterly business reviews

  • Participate in vendor management and EInvoicing and Accounts Payable activities

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a current undergraduate or graduate program tracking to a bachelor's, master's degree, or PhD.

  • And targeting graduation between August 2025 through June 2026

  • And if you receive a full time offer after your internship, the ability to start full time employment after you graduate anytime between December 2025 through September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in construction management for commercial and multi-unit branded environments or Property Management

  • Ability to handle multiple projects going on at the same time, demonstrating an ability to analyze and prioritize to meet multiple project commitments

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter with ability to communicate effectively across various channels

  • Ability to partner as a member of a project team and cultivate a strong working relationship with internal and external project partners

  • Attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD and Acrobat DC

Target Total Compensation - $26-31/hour
