Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Working with modern platforms and technologies and modern processes building enterprise scale web solutions, cloud-ready applications, and cloud platforms. Contribute backend code and understand the full application architecture and integration points of distributed system. Help guide and mentor other developers. Participate in code reviews and in general build mature well designed applications. Utilize multiple .NET and web technologies and understand the importance of well-managed code. Write clean code while being a team player and sharing knowledge. Work with other tech leads and technical directors, and alongside web developers to implement code and document new features. Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best practices. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $168,200 to $246,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience, which include some experience in each of the following skills: Design and implementation of SOAP or REST based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment; Object-oriented design, SOA, design patterns, development, implementation and maintenance; Building enterprise scale web solutions based upon n-tier architecture using open source technologies (Angular or React), Microsoft Web API, and SQL/No-SQL databases; Cloud-ready applications such as, AWS, Azure, GCF, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or similar cloud infrastructure; Database concepts and experience with either SQL or NoSQL solutions such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Hadoop; and HTML5/CSS3 development, Node.js, Web API, Angular, and ReactJS to develop end to end UI applications.
