The Patient Support

Services Supervisor will manage all operational aspects of the Radiological

Sciences Reception team under the supervision of the Service Support Supervisor II to ensure

the efficient and effective coverage of the 24 hour, 7 day schedule. Major

duties include providing administrative support, personnel management,

formulation of section policies and procedures, implementation and facilitation

of ongoing improvements for EPIC, Radiant, Medicals and Magview. Ensure all

employee training requirements are up to date, host meetings, attend PCAT

rounds, maintain the Service Recovery database, staff observations and perform

monthly employee audits. Engage with employees, medical staff, patients and

their families to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the reception and cash

collection service is paramount. Working

in tandem with leadership, you will be responsible for responding to customer, patient

and physician complaints and developing appropriate solutions for improving the

overall service level of the Radiology Reception area.

This position will

provide support at multiple sites in the designated region. Weekend and night

supervision of employees as necessary.

Salary Range: $31.03 - $65.90 Hourly

Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
    • At least 3 years of operation management experience in a multi-functional organization of similar size and complexity with a focus on reception and cash collection management - preferred
    • At least 2 years of Film Library/Filing experience - preferred
    • Working knowledge of University Human Resources Policies and Procedures - preferred
    • Ability to lead and motivate a large staff and work productively, collegially and effectively with staff, faculty and customers at all levels
    • Demonstrated ability to write concise, well organized analytical reports
    • Interpersonal skills for the diplomatic and effective communication with staff, physicians and the general public in conveying information to varying organizational levels
    • Managerial skills to operate multiple Reception areas
    • Skill in writing memoranda, personnel evaluations, section policies and other operating communications
    • Understand and interpret financial and statistical data
    • Working knowledge of front-end process and reception requirements
    • Working knowledge of logistics and distribution principles and multi-functional tasking in a complex work environment
