Overview:

St Anthony North believes that "care is better where you are". Our brand new advanced cancer center will provide extensive cancer services including medical oncology, radiation oncology, and a state-of-the-art infusion center. This will be a 'one-stop-shop' for exceptional cancer care, offering all oncology services in an easy-to-access location close to home.

We are looking for an experienced Cancer Center Manager to lead this exceptional team of care givers. Our next leader will work closely with and in support of the Regional Director of the Oncology Service Line facilitating and overseeing necessary processes that will ensure the highest quality of care and outcomes of those affected by cancer and relative to accreditation requirements. Has a deep understanding of the scope of clinic operations, in particular cancer health services, needed to ensure the highest quality outcomes for patients. Responsible for development, implementation, and marketing of programs and services that will support the growth of the Cancer Center. Facilitate the development of both educational programs and supporting materials, accomplished through close coordination with the Oncology Service Line. Will work closely with volunteer services, Radiation Oncology, RMCC, Nurse Navigators, and all appropriate hospital leadership, service line leadership, physicians, nurse navigation, support services, and external

partners relative to the Cancer Center. Responsible for completing the yearly budget and maintaining expenses within those guidelines. Serves as a liaison to the community.

Responsible for the management of clinical practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). Role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. Demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

Span of control 20 to 40 head count. Direct accountability and reporting for one or two cost centers.

Qualifications:

In addition to human kindness, qualified candidates will need the following:

Education/Certifications required:

An Associate Degree is required for Imaging Candidates. Also required for Imaging candidates will be an ARRT, ARDMS, or CNMT Certifications. If candidate is a RN, an active RN license to practice in Colorado and BSN is required.

A BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

Experience required:

3 years RN oncology experience required for RN’s.

3 years Radiation oncology experienced required for Radiation Therapists.

1 year clinical leadership experience

Experience in program development, implementation, and patient education required.

Ability to work independently, efficient time manager, and good interpersonal skills required.

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
