As part of the new autonomous product category, PTx Trimble aims to deliver autonomous capabilities across the crop cycle. Starting initially with the OutRun autonomous grain cart solution and offerings. OutRun will require a unique product support capability including technical troubleshooting, developing training requirements, documentation and the processes required to deliver a great customer experience. In this role as a Product Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will play an integral part within the PTx Trimble technical support team. The candidate will represent PTx Trimble in providing advanced (Tier 3) level assistance to business partners, resellers, end-users, and internal PTx Trimble teams relating to product information and technical support. This role also channels information in educating dealers and customers on the benefits and uses of PTx Trimble solutions.

Your Impact

  • You will be responsible for processing incoming support tickets or support requests from resellers with technical issues related to PTx Trimble’s new Autonomous solutions.

  • Day to day responsibilities in conjunction with this role will require troubleshooting GNSS (GPS), electrical, vehicle human machine interface systems, Vehicle-to-device telemetry or hydraulic-related issues.

  • You will be referred to as a product Subject Matter Expert or “SME”. SMEs are commonly referred to as specific product specialists. SMEs are responsible for creating minimum requirements for supporting new product releases, assisting support agents with collection of data in preparation for support ticket escalation along with handling/managing product escalations in relation to their designated product portfolio. Escalations will generally require engagement, collaboration and discussion with Products Managers & Engineering teams to come to a resolution stage for most escalations.

  • In some cases, this role may also require traveling to business partner locations or customer sites to resolve an issue. Technical support agents are also responsible for answering all system-related questions and responsible for providing resolution to technical issues.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 or more years in Ag Engineering, Ag Business, or equivalent industry-related field

  • Possesses strong communication skills, both verbal & written, fluent in English, other languages are beneficial

  • Proficient in presenting and public speaking, including technical training and demonstrations as well as proficiency in drafting & creating product or customer facing documentation as needed

  • Customer service experience or in a customer-facing role and ability to collaborate with team members both in-person and virtually; experience with Microsoft applications and comfortable learning new computer applications such as Microsoft Teams

  • Must be able to set priorities and be self-directed in duties and responsibilities and be able to plan, prepare and facilitate business meetings as needed as well as plan, prepare and facilitate on site customer visits as needed.

  • Must be a team player who is able to leverage resources through sound organizational skills and teamwork

  • Mechanical and educational aptitude to maintain and improve understanding of the application and operation of PTx Trimble products

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, demonstrate and project a high level of energy and enthusiasm

  • Ability to technically support PTx Trimble products on weekend & after hours situations on an as needed basis

Your Workplace

You will work hybrid at our Westminster CO site to team up with your wonderful PTx Trimble colleagues. There will be possible opportunities to work remotely after fully trained in role after 1 year of service.

Pay equity provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. PTx Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law. Hiring Range is $54,797 - $110,000 and is bonus eligible. PTx Trimble offers comprehensive benefits.
