Description

My client is an outsourced accounting and finance solutions company based out of Westminster looking for their next Senior Accountant to add to their growing team! This Senior Accountant position offers generous benefits, a long term hybrid work schedule, and is paying up to $80K!

Primary job duties for the Senior Accountant include:

• Creating and posting journal entries

• Entering transactions in appropriate accounts

• Payment of AP, application for incoming payments of AR (and alerting client of overdue AR)

• Bank Reconciliations

• Assisting with payroll journal entries

• Sales tax return preparation and remittance to various jurisdictions

• Financial Statement initial preparation, balance sheet reconciliations

• Certain tax prep items

Requirements

Requirements for the Senior Accountant include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5+ years of GAAP accounting experience, ideally with a small public accounting/bookkeeping company

• Experience reconciling bank statements

• QuickBooks Online experience
