Structural Staff Engineer Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc.is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer to join our renweables team in Denver, Minneapolis, and Madison. This position is anticipated to start Summer 2025. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for structural design of foundations, ancillary structures and anchorage for utility scale solar projects, substations, and transmission line infrastructure. Prepare or direct the structural design reports, specifications, and plans. Review and approve project submittals, RFIs, and supports field activities during construction. Provide professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects. Day-to-day support and input to internal and external Project Managers.

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Education or experience must include:

IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318 shallow and deep foundations, including spread footings, slab-on-grade, piles, and concrete caissons connection and anchorage design such as cast-in-place, post installed, welds and high-strength bolts steel member design, including cold-formed and hot-rolled steel sections reinforced and prestressed concrete design active construction projects, including inspections, submittals, and RFIs structural design for utility-scale PV solar projects remote collaboration and working with other disciplines design and construction of bridges structural inspections of existing structures seismic design distributed renewable energy system design MS Office AutoCAD Revit/BIM Bluebeam Finite Element Analysis Life Cycle Analysis Industrialized construction EIT/FE certification. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Compensation Range Minimum

USD $68,000.00/Yr.

Compensation Range Maximum

USD $75,000.00/Yr.
