Actalent Civil Engineer in Westport, Connecticut

Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description

An established Connecticut Site/Civil & Environmental Engineering Firm is seeking Civil Engineers at various levels to join their team. We are looking for individuals who are proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD/Hydrofow, and Micro Station, with experience in site work, infrastructure, storm drainage, roadway design, erosion control, and onsite sewage disposal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage site design projects

  • Develop drainage management designs

  • Design septic systems

  • Perform site grading

  • Prepare various local municipal applications

  • Design roadways and storm sewer systems

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering school

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard software

  • EIT certification recommended

  • Progression towards a P.E. license

  • 4+ years of work experience in land development or site civil engineering

  • Strong communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • P.E. License is a plus

  • Experience with Civil 3D, HydroCAD/Hydrofow, Micro Station

  • Energy and passion for engineering

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position with occasional opportunities to work from home. The firm offers 100% paid employee benefits, including "Summer Fridays" with half-day schedules and flexibility for work-from-home on specific occasions. All employees are provided with the necessary setup to work from home as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00
