Job Description Our team of nurses are responsible for developing and teaching curriculum both in person and virtually that improves the skills of our clinical staff and ensures the best patient experience. Our nurses are a “go to” team of professionals that serve as key resources in many critical initiatives. Programs include our high reliability training, Flu and Covid vaccine programs, and the newest initiative from the American Heart Association – Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI). These are just a few examples of how our nurses successfully impact our organization. We strive to create a work environment that is both challenging and fun, emphasizes smiling and focuses on working as a team, making each interaction matter. * Active CT Registered Nurse license required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. * CPR certification within 6 months of hire required, CPR Instructor Certification preferred. * At least 2 years of providing patient care in an ambulatory care setting with demonstrated experience in skill review and employee mentoring or, 3 years of inpatient care with like/equivalent resource and education experience required. * 3 years in ambulatory care setting with demonstrated experience in training new employees and teaching and validating clinical skills to meet performance expectations preferred. Charge nurse experience, standards committee, peer review process work a plus. * Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
