Job Description

An employer is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team in Wethersfield, CT. This resource will need to be on-site 3 times per week. This position is open due to a new project being kicked off to launch Connecticut's first digital driver's license. This is a high profile project, and this IT PM will manage all aspects of the project from initiation to closure and lead a cross functional team of agency stakeholders, business users, IT professionals, and vendors. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for defining the project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and will develop and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines. They will manage the stakeholder relationships and prepare and distribute dashboards and status reports. They will need to organize and facilitate meetings while ensuring effective collaboration and communication for the project.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager over mobile application development, cloud infrastructure, digital wallets, or related technologies

Experience working within the public sector

Ability to outline and manage large scale projects throughout the entire project lifecycle

Experience managing vendor, stakeholder, and business relationships to meet common goals

Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and a PPM tool such as Monday.com, JIRA, and/or Confluence

Ability to navigate a complex matrixed environment to drive progress and decision-making Experience supporting the DVM or related agency or department null
