Pay: $20.58/Hour

Your Role:

As aMachine Operator-Production Associate, you will be responsible for filling customer orders, operating equipment to create finished goods, packaging products, and upholding our safety standards. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Set up and operate an assigned machine at required specifications

  • Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.

  • Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.

  • Assure all jobs are run in accordance with all written manufacturing specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, and standard operating procedures.

  • Inspects product for defects to ensure it is according to specifications.

  • Accurately reporting production and labeling rolls.

  • Perform quality testing and ensure product is within customer specifications.

  • Use assisted lifting device when necessary to load rolls onto a skid

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions.

  • Have a strong desire, dedication and determination to succeed, by continually improving skills through on-the-job training and various offered educational opportunities.

We need you to have:

  • a creative approach and problem-solving abilities.

  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read a ruler/tape measure.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; climb steps up 3 levels high, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

  • previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or related area
