ABOUT THE ROLE
The Entegral Engineering Technology Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing many aspects of technology within an organization. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive technology initiatives, manage resources, and align technology investments with the company's goals. The primary focus is on leveraging technology to improve efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness, executing team goals, objectives, processes and staff resources for the team. Engineering oversees the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and projects. The overarching goal for this area is to ensure technology aligns seamlessly with the business objectives. This function includes strategic planning to ensure technology serves the broader business goals, efficient budget management, oversight of Claims Product Development and employees in this space, and the management of technology projects, from inception to completion. Engineering maintains relationships with technology vendors, provides leadership to a skilled technology team, and keeps an eye on emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
You will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems. We’re looking for talented individuals who can serve as subject matter experts in their area of focus and represent their departments on complex assignments for our Claims Product Development team. You’ll be responsible for evaluating elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research and investigation, and offer recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness. You’ll listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with their expectations.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in New York.
Pay Range: [$114,000.00 - 143,000.00]
Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include bonuses.

Responsibilities
Grow and develop one or more high-performing technical teams tasked with building state-of-the-art solutions for a diverse customer group
Execute the interview process to support and meet global hiring strategies
Work closely with product portfolio leadership on product and technology goals and objectives that hold teams accountable to building high-performing software products
Oversee and escalate complex customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolutions are enacted at the team level to meet customer needs
Employ an engaging and professional leadership approach built on collaboration, transformational leadership principles, and diversity and inclusivity while fostering agile principles to align with organizational culture
Work closely with technology staffing vendors, cloud and tooling vendors and technology training companies to meet team and value stream objectives
Provide career counseling and development; including coaching and mentoring to engage and retain workforce
Execute company policies and practices to ensure a compliant work environment
Communicate job expectations and ensure employees not only understand their jobs, but also how performance is measured; Plan, monitor, and appraise job results

Qualifications
Required:
Must be located in AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI
For flexible or full remote work from home positions, reliable high speed internet connection and dedicated work space are required
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred)
5+ years of people management experience, to include managing and developing Software Engineers
2+ years experience successfully leading cross-functional, onsite and virtual teams in a global software development environment (SaaS preferred)
2+ years experience leading projects or initiatives within software product development
Knowledge of software design and development concepts
Experience managing a diverse workforce and helping employees thrive in an inclusive environment
Experience in evaluating individual performance against goals, and provide meaningful and constructive feedback/coaching to the people that they manage
Experience in understanding the skills and interests of the team, and make sure that those skills are being developed to meet both current and future needs of the organization
Preferred:
Experience in insurance and/or collision industries
Experience in Agile methodology using JIRA and Confluence
Experience supporting cloud-based large scale or high-transactional volume SaaS products
Experience with cloud integration technologies, DevOps techniques, security protocols in a growing IT environment.

Ability to manage a limited supply of resources against constantly changing demand, which requires a good view of what is coming up and creating short-, mid- and long-term resource plans
Knowledge and experience working within an Agile team environment and managing different roles and skill sets
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and agility related to critical thinking and making decisions with complex considerations as it relates to resource allocations
Ability to constructively challenge prevailing thoughts and processes as a positive Change Agent
Exceptional communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively convey complex information in a manner that is easily understood and actionable to all levels of the organization
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Top-notch people skills and the ability to effectively set and articulate job responsibilities, performance goals and standards
