Oneida Technical Solutions Senior Cybersecurity Analyst in Wharton, New Jersey

We are currently bidding on a contract providing support to the Picatinny NEC in improving the functionality of the overall delivery of Information Technology Services (ITS) and Administrative Telephone Services (ATS) on Picatinny Arsenal.

This opportunity is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions.

Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Picatinny Arsenal

Clearance Level: Secret Clearance (Required)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep expertise in cybersecurity, particularly in the areas defined by the Defense Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role ID 722. This role is critical in safeguarding our organization's information systems and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) 8140 directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Defense Analysis: Perform advanced cyber defense analysis to detect and mitigate threats, ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's systems and data.

  • Incident Response: Lead the incident response efforts by identifying, containing, and eradicating security threats in a timely manner.

  • Vulnerability Management: Assess vulnerabilities in information systems, propose mitigation strategies, and implement security controls to reduce risks.

  • Security Operations: Monitor and manage security operations, including threat monitoring, detection, and response using advanced tools and techniques.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with DOD 8140 and other relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure that the organization's security posture remains robust and compliant with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and security professionals to integrate security measures across all systems and platforms.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, mitigation actions, and compliance measures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber defense analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.

  • DCWF Work Role ID 722: Proven experience in the tasks and competencies outlined in DCWF 722.

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required.

  • DOD 8140 Compliance: Must meet DOD 8140 qualification requirements, including relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent are required. Additional certifications related to DOD 8140 compliance are highly desirable.

  • Skills:

  • Proficient in cybersecurity tools and technologies.

  • Strong understanding of network security, intrusion detection, and incident response methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a DOD environment.

  • Familiarity with DOD 8570/8140 requirements and related frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of current cyber threats and mitigation strategies.
