Job Title: Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting video teleconference systems and will be well-versed in the DCWF 411 standards for Video Teleconference Technicians and Mission VTC for CDC Armament. This role requires a Secret Clearance and adherence to DoD 8140 compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration:

• Install, configure, and maintain video teleconference systems and associated equipment in accordance with DCWF 411 standards.

• Ensure the proper setup of hardware and software components for video and audio communications.

• Operation and Support:

• Provide technical support for VTC systems, ensuring high-quality video and audio performance.

• Monitor and troubleshoot VTC systems to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

• Conduct regular system checks and preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness.

• Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other IT and communications professionals to integrate VTC systems with existing networks and infrastructure.

• Work closely with end-users to provide training and support for effective use of VTC equipment.

• Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain documentation related to VTC system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Ensure compliance with DoD 8140 requirements and security protocols.

• Mission Support:

• Support CDC Armament mission requirements by ensuring VTC systems meet operational needs and performance standards.

• Participate in mission planning and coordination to support video teleconference operations.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications related to VTC systems and network administration are preferred.

• Proven experience as a VTC Technician or in a similar role with hands-on experience in video teleconference systems.

• Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of VTC hardware and software, including troubleshooting and repair.

• Familiarity with DCWF 411 standards for VTC Technician and Mission VTC.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Clearance and Compliance:

• Active Secret Clearance is required.

• Compliance with DoD 8140 standards for cybersecurity and information assurance.
