Intermountain Health Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Ortho in Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Job Description:

Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Ortho Trauma – Wheat Ridge, CO (Ortho Trauma)

Your day.

As a Nurse Practitioner in Ortho Trauma, you’ll work with several two Trauma Surgeons and one other Nurse Practitioner to provide top-notch care and patient experience on our surgical units.

  • You would practice at Lutheran Medical Center, in Wheat Ridge, CO

  • You would work 4 days/week, 10 hours per day to include some weekends (options to work 3, 12hr shifts at a .9 FTE are available)

  • Your patient care would include inpatient management of ortho trauma surgery patients

  • Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, multidisciplinary rounding at 7:45am, H&Ps, as well as being the first point of contact for nursing staff

  • You would work with multidisciplinary groups to include PT, OT, RT, Case Management, Pharmacy and more

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • Advanced Practice Nurse education from an accredited school of nursing

  • AGACNP education highly preferred

  • Unrestricted license as and Nurse Practitioner in the state of Colorado, or able to obtain

  • DEA, BLS, ACLS, and full prescriptive RXN

  • Minimum of 6 months of NP experience

  • Ortho or Trauma experience as an NP or RN preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$43.16 - $79.15
