Certified Public Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our financial services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial accounting and technical accounting services to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial software and securities law, as well as the ability to analyze financial data and provide accurate forecasts. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial software such as Thomson Reuters CS Software Suite and /or Prosystemfx a plus. QuickBooks experience is a plus. Candidate must also be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Candidates staff level and duties will be commensurate with experience and skill set. We offer a full salary with benefits package.

Job Duties:

• Performance of outsourced Controller, bookkeeping, and payroll services.
• Preparation of income tax returns for individuals and businesses

• Performance compilation and preparation engagement.

   

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred with experience.
• Prior public accounting or CFO/Controller experience preferred.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Research and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to compose client correspondence.

• Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships.
