Are you ready to make an impact and drive growth within dynamic territories? CAE is looking for a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our team. Based at one of our training centers in Orlando, New Jersey, or Dallas, this role will be key to expanding our market presence in the assigned territories. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will collaborate closely with our Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers to identify and capture new business opportunities, with a strong focus on inside sales, market share expansion, and revenue growth. POSITION PROFILE:

  • Accountable for revenue from new business and order intake targets in assigned region

  • Focus is on closing and securing new customers (< $100K USD), in coordination with the rest of the sales team and leveraging the entire CAE organization

  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads

  • Communicate with customers within the territory on a regular basis to develop relationships

  • Own the process from sale to booking, work with the scheduler to execute

  • Work closely with the scheduling team to ensure that client booking requests are responded to right away with training options that customers prefer

  • Must be able to overcome objections over the phone and determine next steps

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets by territory

  • Support sales activities in defined territories by working closely with sales team

  • Focus on generating new business through defined sales initiatives

  • Accountable for maintaining new business pipeline with consistent closure rate

  • Market analysis and prospecting to qualify leads via email, phone and in person to create and win opportunities. Focus on converting inbound leads to wins

  • Create and send proposals/agreements to prospective customers

  • Ensure all reporting and CRM entry is done accurately and on-time

  • Track competitive landscape and help create strategy by territory, leveraging use of the Platform Sheet

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree (engineering, commerce, business) or equivalent

  • Minimum 2-3 years of telephone or inside sales experience (preferably in aviation sales)

  • Working knowledge of FAR part 91 and 135 preferred

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as this position requires selling over the phone and the ability to communicate effectively

  • Must be customer service oriented

  • Solid negotiation skills

  • Strong listening skills

  • Experience with corporate flight departments and/or charter operators preferred

  • Proficient verbal and written communication in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

  • Must be willing to travel 15% or greater
