JOB SUMMARY:
The IEP Manager is responsible for ensuring all children referred for services through CPSE and CSE program are staffed to the appropriate therapist and receive the services approved in the IEP.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review all IEPs and ensure the information is accurate and appropriate.
Ensure all required paperwork is obtained in a timely manner for services to begin
Contact providers to review IEP content and ensure understanding prior to the initiation of services.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry for cases
Review all progress reports and annual review reports to ensure clinical standards are met
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise throughout the life of a case.
Work closely with the Billing and AR Departments to ensure timely billing and payment of provided services.
Remain current and ensure all cases meet state and county regulations
Work closely with the SEIT Supervisor to ensure all supervisory activities take place and are appropriately documented
Train all newly compliant CPSE/CSE providers on county and state regulations.
Conduct training for CPSE providers as needed
Attend IEP and IFSP meetings as needed
Conduct clinical review of evaluation reports as needed
Ensure all responsibilities assigned to IEP Coordinator and CPSE Staffing Coordinator are completed and monitored regularly
Other duties as assigned by Director
REQUIREMENTS:
Individual must hold one of the following certifications/licenses
Students with Disabilities (Birth – 2) Initial or Professional certification
Permanent Special Education certificate
NYS Certified School Psychologist
NYS Licensed Master Social Worker
Successful experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook a must.
Bilingual Spanish speaking individual preferred, not required.
In office 5 days per week.
