Provide support to project management and cost control teams for construction projects of varying classifications, scales and complexities. Analyze all design documents including architectural & engineering plans, and construction specifications to enable on-site construction. Coordinate with construction manager to establish project objectives and procedures, develop scopes of work for subcontractors and negotiate contract buyouts and change orders. Work with cost estimating team to perform plan and specification analysis, takeoff, and pricing of various types of construction projects using tools such as Bluebeam Revu or On-Screen Takeoff. Review performance of subcontractors working on various trades of multiple construction projects and ensure timely completion while maintaining compliance to building codes, safety standards and environmental laws. Develop construction schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project and closely monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved and deadlines are met. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions using software programs like AutoCAD. Analyze surveys, environmental conditions assessment reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan construction projects at specific locations. Track and control construction documents and associated costs using project management tools such as Procore and PMWeb to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated. Lead scheduled weekly progress meetings, effectively delegate tasks to team members and establish highly efficient workflows within the assigned project team. Monitor compliance to NYC Building Codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. Organize project close-out documents, perform quality analysis, and track punch lists before project completion. Requires bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or closely related + 5 years of relevant experience or master’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or closely related + 3 years of relevant experience. Requires experience in Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, Onscreen Takeoff.
