Personal Care Assistantsat VNH are integral members of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to patients, allowing them to receive the medical care required in the comfort of their own home.
The Personal Care Assistant will:
Provides compassionate non-medical hands-on care for clients who require assistance with personal care, light homemaking tasks, medication reminders, cueing and errands so that clients can remain safely in their respective homes
Preparing meals; grocery shopping, storage, general cooking, storing in containers, utilizing safe food handling standards.
Cleaning living areas including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and sitting areas; includes the possible use of vacuum cleaners, brooms, general household cleaners, general household trash removal.
