Scheduled Weekly Hours:36 Gundersen Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to join our growing and thriving organization. This is your opportunity to provide both customer service and effective engagement to patients while doing the work you love at our new hospital in Whitehall, Wisconsin. What\'s Available: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm No weekends, holidays, or on-call! Location: Whitehall, WI What do you need: Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy 1 year of pharmaceutical experience Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in Wisconsin Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Job Description: The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for our patients. Works with and supervises all manufacturing and compounding in the pharmacy. Major Responsibilities: 1. Prepares and/or maintains written control over medication dispensing and manufacturing. Understands and uses pharmacy reference material for drug information. Maintains adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. 2. Interprets, clarifies, and evaluates appropriateness of medication orders for physicians and others credentialed or privileged to prescribe medication. 3. Is competent in providing care to all age categories of patients served, modifying drug therapy as appropriate for the neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly populations. 4. Understands the functionality available within the pharmacy computer system and is competent in applying appropriately. 5.
