Chubb VP, Duck Creek Engineering Lead in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working within the Global Core Platforms team, the 'Global Underwriting Engineering Lead' will drive the engineering practices that underlay the future of Chubb's core underwriting systems. The role will oversee the DevOps and platform enablement support for Duck Creek Policy implementations at Chubb globally, including personal and commercial lines across many markets. The role includes DevOps and enablement responsibility for rating and pricing via Willis Towers Watson Radar Live.

Chubb operates a Jenkins and Ansible-based DevOps pipeline for Duck Creek Policy and strives to improve developer efficiency continually and reduce cycle times. We intend to lead the insurance industry in our application of technology. This role will lead experienced software engineers to build advanced tools to support this goal, adding capabilities to augment Duck Creek's offerings. Working with the 'Head of the Underwriting Platform,' this role will manage a multi-year roadmap to deliver this industry-leading technology base for underwriting solutions.

Additionally, the Global Underwriting Engineering Lead will direct the efforts of an elite team of Duck Creek Policy experts to provide hands-on support to enable business units across Chubb to get the most out of Duck Creek. This team operates at the forefront of Chubb technology modernization, seeking out the most significant opportunities and challenges.

This role will require the candidate to lead an extensive portfolio of globally distributed developer teams to deliver products and services most efficiently.
