Join Hach , a global leader in water quality solutions, as a Regional Sales Manager and be part of a team dedicated to making a real impact on the world’s most vital resource – water. In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to proactively sell to both new and existing industrial customers within your territory, accelerating market penetration and sales growth.

This role will support Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, and Southeast Missouri.

You’ll have the entrepreneurial freedom to own your territory, create new opportunities, and leverage your expertise to build strong customer connections. Whether you're engaging in-person with customers, prospecting for new business, or collaborating with internal sales resources, you'll be a driving force in our go-to-market strategy. You’ll also use our Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools to continuously improve processes and exceed growth targets, making a tangible impact every day.

In this role, your day-to-day will include:

  • Creating and executing strategic sales plans with your sales team to achieve ambitious targets.

  • Managing opportunities and accounts in Salesforce (SFDC) , including tracking activities and sales progress.

  • Building relationships with engineering firms, industry contacts, and key decision-makers to position Hach as a leader in water management.

  • Attending customer site visits, trade shows, product demos, and seminars to keep the pulse of your territory.

  • Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while supporting existing customer accounts.

  • Leading monthly funnel reviews and sales forecasts, presenting results with confidence and precision.

  • Mentoring other RSMs, sharing your expertise, and contributing to a culture of growth and success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in analytical instrumentation or industrial markets.

  • Industry Knowledge: B2B experience selling complex industrial products and solutions, especially in sectors like Waste Water, Drinking Water, Power, or Industrial Water.

  • Education: A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.

  • Sales Skills: Familiarity with sales methodologies like Question Based Selling, Value Selling, or Sandler.

  • CRM Expertise: Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRMs is preferred.

  • Willingness to Travel: Comfortable with traveling up to 75% of the time within your territory.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $105,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
