JOB REQUIREMENTS: Setup Technician - 2nd Shift - 3806 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We\'re seeking a skilled Setup Technician who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys problem-solving to ensure efficient production processes. Job Summary: As a Setup Technician on the 2nd shift, you will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining plastic injection molding equipment to meet production demands. This position combines technical expertise with hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Duties: * Setup and Optimization: Perform setup activities to ensure optimal performance of molding processes. Adjust settings, troubleshoot issues, and implement changes to improve product quality and efficiency. * Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and monitor press cycle times to uphold quality standards. Document process changes and notify the quality department for verification as needed. * Equipment Maintenance: Perform startup operations on machinery and equipment (e.g., grinders, dryers) to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoot equipment/tooling and perform adjustments as necessary. * Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and work orders to determine setup requirements and production methods. * Safety and Compliance: Adhere to 5S standards, maintain cleanliness in the work area, and follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Operate powered industrial equipment safely if required. * Documentation and Communication: Complete all necessary documentation accurately. Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
