Position Specific Responsibilities

You will partner alongside various student groups to continue the growth and development of strategies and assessment planning, budget preparation, and involvement in campus life. Summary of Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operations of one or more student involvement events or programs.

Essential Functions

Provides direction in event planning and evaluation, promotion and publicity, membership recruitment and retention.\ Oversees committee budget preparation and evaluation, and completion of contractual obligations.\ Develops and implements assessment tools to measure student performance, programs and events.\ Works collaboratively with program staff to foster campus life involvement.

Minimum Education

Bachelors degree in higher education administration, counseling or related field by hire date

Preferred Education

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years of experience in student program development or related field, with one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role

Preferred Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of developing, implementing and assessing programs
  • Familiar with developing and support a event planning organization and/or program board, advising Student Activities Council and working in large-scale campus-wide programming
  • Solid understanding of managing budgets
  • Ability to develop and track student learning outcomes
  • Valid Drivers License to operate state vehicles
