Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Maintenance Department. The Electrician will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, adhering to all local and National electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.

• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.

• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.

• Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with other maintenance workers and departmental supervision to diagnose issues.

• Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, circuit boards, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.

• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.

• Replace electric motor bearings and rewire power to motors.

• Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.

• Diagnose and replace faulty electrical/mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.

Essential Skills

• HS Diploma or GED required.

• Three to five years of related experience.

• Knowledgeable and experienced with all aspects of local and national electrical codes and standard practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prefer graduate of accredited electrical apprenticeship program.

• Prefer journeyman or master electrician license.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60300.00 - $81640.00
