JOB SUMMARY

By ensuring our operations align with sustainable energy practices, this role contributes to promoting a cleaner and greener future!

This role is located inWichita, KSand is not open to remote locations.

DURING A TYPICAL DAY

  • Manage compliance reporting requirements for EPA and Domestic and International Low Carbon Fuel Standard Programs.

  • Adhere to compliance policies, processes, and internal procedures in alignment with industry standards and best practices.

  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to research issues with our bio-processing facilities, carriers, etc.

  • Implement or recommend process improvement for current or future processes

  • Collaborate with external customers, regulatory agencies, and auditors, to ensure accurate reporting and maintain positive relationships.

  • Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to sustainable energy operations.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging regulations to proactively identify potential compliance risks.Assist in building a culture of compliance by promoting ethical conduct and integrity throughout the organization.

  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, and update internal controls accordingly.

    REQUIREMENTS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years’ experience in compliance or accounting or related field

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing sustainable energy operations.

  • Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment
