WSP USA Senior Consultant, Civil Engineering in Wichita, Kansas

This Opportunity

WSP USA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in the Wichita, KS office. This is an opportunity to join a team designing some of the most complex and impactful transportation projects in Kansas. At WSP you’ll have the opportunity to shape your career to make it what you want it to be. Our Wichita team focuses on delivering projects for our clients while mentoring and developing team members to prepare for them for future opportunities.

Your Impact

  • Lead tasks & design teams in the execution of projects

  • Provide technical expertise in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications

  • Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design

  • Maintain positive team and client relationships

  • Collaborate with key staff across disciplines (i.e. drainage, structures) as required

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field from accredited university

  • 5+ years of experience in the civil engineering field

  • Professional Engineer’s License in Kansas

  • Hands-on experience in OpenRoads Designer

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering.

  • Experience managing small to mid-size projects.
