JOB SUMMARY :

To provide technical assistance to engineering and corporate staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides technical assistance, under the direct supervision of the engineering staff in compiling technical information, solving problems and assisting in preparing reports working from various procedures and standard practices.

o Researches, computes, charts, plots, reads and measures engineering or test data.

o Assists engineering staff in compiling data and preparing engineering reports.

o Operates computer equipment to process engineering data.

o May be required to help prepare engineering data sketches.

• Requires minimal contact with personnel in engineering to obtain and furnish information during training period.

• Direct observation of a certified Level 2 in NDI is required for all Accept/Reject decisions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION :

Requires 80 hours of NDI formal training.

EXPERIENCE :

Up to one year experience in nondestructive testing preferred.
