Machine operator of automated woodworking equipment in custom millwork shop.

Qualifications: Must have extensive hands-on operator knowledge of Holzma beam saw. Experience with CNC, dowel, and edgebanding machines is a definite plus.

Experience: 5 years experience on beam saw and other equipment. 5 years hands-on woodworking experience preferred

Skills: Strong organizational skills required. Must be a self-starter and work independently with a strong sense of urgency. Must be willing to learn other machines as well as work in any department as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate Holzma beam saw. Operate other equipment as well as hand tools in a safe,
• Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to assist in the improvement of SOPs.
• Operate forklift.
• Have valid drivers license and be able to drive company pick up and box truck.
• Produce quality components in accordance with the Quality Management system.
• Attend planning, scheduling meetings as necessary with Operations Manager
• Be the responsible party for timely preventative and scheduled maintenance for machinery.
• Perform all daily maintenance and clean-up duties for machinery and department as directed by supervisor.
• Ability to clock into correct jobs and report job status in company software.
• Work with Inventory Control to ensure accurate and correct inventory of stock and custom materials.
• Ability to work in any department as required in custom millwork environment.
• At all times maintain constant and positive attitude with the relationships of employees and vendors
