Job Title: Welder

Job Description

The welder is responsible for following daily or weekly work directions from team leads or supervisors, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to, and maintaining material flow in the plant. Responsibilities include welding components in various positions using GMAW or GTAW techniques, clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, grinding, or bolting component parts to achieve required configurations for welding. Additionally, the role requires preparing material surfaces for welding to meet cleanliness and bevel specifications, and cutting aluminum extrusions to length using saws.

Hard Skills

  • MIG welding

  • Aluminum piping

Pay

  • $25-33/hour based off work experience and weld test

Work Environment

Small team environment equipped with new Miller Welding equipment. The schedule is a 1st shift with a start time between 5am and 7am, working four 10-hour days with Fridays off.
