Pay starts at $18.25 with a $1 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts 

2nd Shift – Inventory Control, 12 Tradeport Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA   

Position: 

Inventory Control Specialist with Merchandise Inspection and Cycle Counting 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough merchandise inspections to identify quality issues, damages, or discrepancies. 

  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems. 

  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to reconcile discrepancies. 

  • Monitor inventory levels and alert management of low stock or potential stockouts. 

  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for accurate inventory movements. 

  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices. 

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues. 

  • Prepare reports and analyze inventory data for improvement. 

  • Assist in developing inventory management strategies. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus. 

  • Proven experience in inventory control, merchandise inspection, and cycle counting. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Requirements: 

  • Conduct regular physical count cycle counting. 

  • Utilize cycle counting techniques for precise inventory counts. 

  • Perform detailed merchandise inspections and update records. 

  • Collaborate with purchasing department to reconcile purchase orders. 

  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies. 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records. 

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
